SCOUT UNIFORM
The Scout uniform has evolved into a very practical one. The addition of the activity trousers now makes this uniform almost young person proof! However, there is one area that always causes confusion - where do I put all those badges? Hopefully this picture will help.
One of the main differences between the Cub and Scout uniforms is that Scouts wear a formal shirt and, for the first time, have a leather belt as part of the uniform.
A Scout is only allowed to wear their Necker and Membership badge once they have been invested, even if they have previously been in the Cub Section. Each Section within Scouting has its own investiture ceremony.
There are lots of other questions regarding uniform which, hopefully, will be answered in this Scout Uniform Guidelines document we have put together.
